Best Camera Switchers, Control Panels, Apps and Desk Accessories
All the tools I recommend for Livestreaming on YouTube and Webinars. Everything I have listed below are products that I am currently using in my own set up.
Camera Switchers
Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro
Not just for live streaming, I use the ATEM Mini Pro whenever I am recording myself with multiple cameras. I generally have anywhere from 3-5 cameras recording in my setup depending on what I am filming. Having this switcher front and center makes livestreaming easy and also cuts down on post production for multi-camera YouTube videos.
Control Panels
Stream Deck
My favorite control panel! Everything is run through this for me - lights, microphones, on screen effects… everything. Having this on my desk allows me to control almost everything in my studio at the touch of a button.
Stream Deck XL
Same utility as the standard deck but with more options for control.
Software
ecamm Live
To date this is my favorite software for live streaming. Ecamm integrates with Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and other popular streaming platforms letting you see comments, audience size, add overlays and animations and add remote guests. The catch is, this is Mac only software.
Desk Accessories
Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac
My all-time favorite mouse. Ergonomic, good materials, multiple scroll directions and customizable controls.
Keychron K2 Keyboard
Have you ever hit a typewriter key? Yeah the throw is long but that punch and the sound!? So satisfying. This is like that. They board comes in wired and wireless options and you can choose between Mac and Windows layouts.
